On Monday June 26th, 2017, Dean Sakamoto and Summer Fellow Zach Small were interviewed by Noe Tanigawa of Hawaii Public Radio (HPR) to speak about the Public Interest Design (PID) Workshop and how SHADE Institute has been working to help Waipahu and Chinatown communities develop transit oriented design projects following Social Economic Environmental Design (SEED) guidelines.
